What we offer

The Learning Academy is a caring, professional, supportive, and responsive licensed education center. Programs are offered for children from birth to age eighteen to enrich the lives of children. Our programs offer a support system for raising a child while supporting success in education and learning. The Learning Academy is committed to provide a welcoming, engaging and challenging environment for children to play, learn, explore, discover and create.

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT

The Learning Academy is a space for children. This is their place to create, to explore, to wonder, to grow, to learn, to laugh, to experiment, to get messy, to sing, to shout, to problem solve and to take risks. We respect all children and the value that they bring to our programs. We provide a developmentally appropriate program that fosters the ideas and experiences of the children enrolled here. Our teachers work hand in hand with the children to answer their questions, to seek out knowledge and understanding and to foster their sense of wonder and curiosity. Each child is recognized to be unique and each family’s individuality is valued. By accepting the total child, setting clear and defined goals and limits, while allowing for self-expression, each child’s needs are met. The Learning Academy is a place for children to gain confidence, develop positive self-esteem, and mature emotionally. We believe that parents are the most important people in a child’s life and we work closely with parents to achieve the best care for their child.

Programs

Our programs include early learning for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, enrichment opportunities for children in kindergarten, and individualized tutoring sessions for students in all grades and subjects.
